Who We Are
-
We believe in keeping things simple, smart, and human. Our events allow for teams who are separated by large distances in the real world to still compete and run alongside each other across the virtual space. Thus facilitating sportsmanship and team-values even when miles apart from each other.
-
Integrity and empathy shape the way we work. These are not just taglines, they form the core of our ethos.
We know life doesn’t always run smoothly. As such we will always listen to feedback and communications and do our utmost to accommodate any changes or extenuating circumstances.
-
We held our first virtual team events in 2020, under the guidance and leadership of then committee members Paul & Charlotte Adams as a way for members of our local running club - Caerleon Running Club in South Wales - to remain engaged with each other throughout the pandemic while abiding by the strict lockdown and isolation regulations that were in place at the time.
These events were fantastically well received and helped to keep us connected during a time where loneliness and a sense of disconnect were creating a real problem for the Mental Health Care Providers across the UK.
When Christian Ford, took over the running of the clubs internal championship in 2023, he brought some of these formats back - and even though there were no physical barriers to competing side-by-side they were once again massively well received by the Club due to the flexibility they provide around other commitments.
As these grew in success and popularity each year, the concept of Pantheon Running was born - a platform to allow team-based competition across borders. Bringing runners together and fostering a racing environment free from scheduling and travel difficulties.
We hope you enjoy racing with us !
